Sonnenschein dryfit batteries offer a fully sealed maintenance free lead acid battery that never requires filling with water. The dryfit technology system was developed by Sonnenschein in 1957 and is well suited to the extreme service life requirements of stand-by applications such as UPS, fire protection and telecommunication systems as well as the durability demands in cyclic applications such as power systems, golf carts and other electric vehicles.

SONNESCHEIN A500 BATTERY

Completely maintenance-free, sealed VRLA batteries with tried and trusted dryfit technology. The A500 is not classified as hazardous goods as no acid can leak out due to the electrolyte being fixed in a gel. The sealed design makes these batteries generally suitable for transport without a dangerous goods classification, even by Air transport.

A powerful and versatile battery that is best suited to UPS applications, alarm signalling systems, telecommunications, lighting systems, security systems, power generation and distribution, and traffic engineering.

With capacities from 1.2 Ah to 200 Ah, the sealed gel design means that the batteries can be mounted in any orientation, and even used under water. This can be very important in hazardous situations, such assearch and rescue, racing or off-road vehicles.
